This week brings HMS Pinafore performances over the weekend, the KC Wind Symphony and “What Makes it Great?” with Rob Kapilow & Zemlinsky Quartet. Rich vocal offerings with KC Collegium Vocale & KC Baroque Consortium, Musica Vocale and Octarium. Theatre performances of “The Toughest Kid in the World,” “Little House on the Prairie,” “Almost Maine” and “The Graduate” Student recitals at UMKC, Benedictine College. And amazing dance with Tap Dogs and Noche Flamenco & Soledad Barrio at Lied Center, Parsons Dance at Harriman-Jewell and Paul Taylor at Carlsen Center. Check it all out…

To Submit Information:

  • Please go to the KCM front page and click on the login tab located at the top right-hand side of the website.
  • Create a login account and then sign-in.
  • Read the KC Events Terms of Service before proceeding
  • On the left-hand nav is a category called Submit Content
  • Click on Submit an Event or Manage Your Events.
  • Listings will be approved with 48 hours if it fits the KCMetropolis.org criteria

Kansas City is major center of electronic music composition with many area composers frequently winning international competitions. Most of these composers are members of the Kansas City Electronic Music and Arts Alliance (KcEMA) which was founded in 2007 to develop a community of understanding, appreciation and collaboration of electronic artists, and to support the creation of electronic music and arts.
