Open Casting Call for Young Actors (Age 7 to 16) for Kansas City Rep’s 30th Anniversary production of A Christmas Carol
The KC Rep is looking for enthusiastic young singers, dancers and actors ages 7-16. for Open Auditions for Youth Cast of A Christmas Carol.

at Bruce R. Watkins Cultural Heritage Center and Museum, 3700 Blue Parkway, Kansas City, MO 64130.
Audition requirements: short monologue, story or joke about one minute in length which can be memorized or read, and be prepared to sing “Silent Night”. If you are a singer, please prepare 16 bars of a song that best shows off your voice and that you enjoy singing. There will be an accompanist to play piano. You may be asked to read a short scene from the script.
Auditions will be for Kyle Hatley, Kansas City Repertory Theatre’s Associate Artistic Director who will direct A Christmas Carol.
Please bring a current photo and a resume with updated contact info.

Voices of Peace is an ecumenical community choir that is sponsored by the Community of Christ Church and includes singers from the Greater Kansas City Area. The group is dedicated to providing inspirational choral repertoire in both a worship and concert setting. The inaugural season begins this September.
Voices of Peace consists of two groups; the Symphonic Choir which presents large works and the Chamber Choir, a fully professional group which specializes in advanced literature. Our concerts will take place in the glorious Community of Christ Temple which features a four second reverberation and the famous 102 rank, Casavant Organ with the fabulous Dr. Jan Kraybill on the console.
The rehearsal schedule is as follows:
Symphonic Choir: Thursday Evenings from 7-9 pm at the Community of Christ Temple
Chamber Choir: Once a month - TBD depending on availability (probably weekends)
The groups will perform approximately 3-4 times per season.
We are seeking a number of competitively paid section leaders and volunteers for both groups - SATB voices!
Auditions for all voices will be Saturday, July 17, 10am - 8pm

Auditions will consist of:
1) A song of your choice which demonstrates your abilities
2) Some simple vocal exercises which demonstrates your ability to blend and control vibrato
3) Tonal Memory & Sight Reading
An Accompanist will be provided
